11.19.24 - New image from In the Lost Lands and a release date: February 28, 2025!

Blog update from author George R.R. Martin:

  • A long time ago, I had hoped to write a series of stories about Gray Alys and those bold enough to buy from her… but life and other stories intervened, and somehow I never got around to writing that second tale. But who knows? If the film does well enough, maybe I will finally write that sequel. In my copious spare time. Until then, do check out the movie. It’s dark and twisted and atmospheric, and a lot of fun.

11.16.24 - Milla will star in Protector!!

From Milla's Instagram: MAMA’S ON A ROLL! I’m so happy to be working on so many cool projects this year and next! This movie is close to my heart for a few reasons, first it deals with every parent’s worst nightmare, their child being trafficked. I play a phenomenal character who needs to fight her own demons if she ever has the chance to find her daughter again. And a lot of ass kicking ensues😂 Both mine and the bad guys! This will be an edge of your seat psychological action thriller and I’m so honored to bring it to the screen with my director Adrian Grünberg! ITS ALL HAPPENING!!💥💥💥

From Hollywood Reporter:
  • Resident Evil star Milla Jovovich is set to headline Protector, a Taken-esque action thriller that Highland Film is pitching to buyers at this year’s American Film Market. Adrian Grünberg (Rambo: Last Blood, Get the Gringo) is set to direct from a screenplay by Bong-Seeb Mun. Production is slated to begin this winter in New Mexico.

The film’s log line has Jovovich playing Nikki, a former war hero who believed she had left her violent past behind to raise her daughter, Chloe, in peace. When she wakes up in an abandoned factory and learns that Chloe has been kidnapped, Nikki has navigate the city’s criminal underworld, pursued by both the cops and the military, to get her daughter back.

11.10.24 - Milla will star in Twilight of the Dead!!

From Milla's Instagram: SHE’S BACK FIGHTING THE UNDEAD!!! I can’t tell you guys how proud I am to be a part of the George R. Romero legacy with his last and final script “Twilight of the Dead”!! And to be starring alongside the incredible Betty Gabriel is just mind blowing! Also, back in the saddle with one of my favorite directors Brad Anderson who’s twisted mind will make this movie everything George imagined it to be! LET’S GOOOOO!!! #georgeromero #bettygabriel #bradanderson #twilightofthedead

From Deadline:
  • Milla Jovovich and Betty Gabriel (Get Out) have been set to star in Twilight of the Dead, the next feature from The Call and The Machinist director Brad Anderson.

The George A. Romero estate is teaming up with L.A.-based financier-producer Roundtable on the “seventh and final installment” of the seminal Living Dead franchise. Horror icon Romero had written a treatment for the movie before he died in 2017 and he regarded Twilight of the Dead as the conclusion to his epic saga, which comprised six movies and various spinoffs and remakes.
