  • The The Million Dollar Hotel Soundtrack features Milla singing Lou Reed's "Satellite of Love" with U2's Bono ("Jovovich interprets Lou Reed's 'Satellite Of Love' as a bewildered ballad for a post-NASA world of 50,000 cable channels." - Rolling Stone)

  • The name of the film is the nickname for the LA flophouse which was used in the filming of the now infamous U2 video, 'Where the Streets Have No Name'. U2 have been closely linked to Wim Wenders for years having contributed songs to several of Wenders pictures including Until the End of the World, Faraway So Close and The End of Violence. The German director also oversaw the groups night and day segment in the 1990 TV special Red, Hot and Blue. The screenplay is by Nicholas Klein and it's being produced by Berlin Road Movies Production with distribution being handled by Mel Gibson's company, Icon Entertainment. U2 will again provide the soundtrack for the feature.

  • Milla's exchange with a reporter at the Berlin Film Festival: "Are you an alien?" "That's what they say. The people that know me best say I am."

  • Poem Tom Tom (Jeremy Davies) recites to Eloise (Milla):
    Love can never be betrayed,
same way as a tree, or the sea,
    or any other mystery
it's the eyes with which we see
it's the sinner & the saint
it's the light inside a paint
