Over 100 needy families and children in the Houston suburb of Deer Park, Texas are in desperate need of clothing, food, and financial assistance. With Christmas on the horizon in just a few short weeks, Deer Park resident Neil Boone of The Boone Brothers has taken on the task of working in partnership with Deer Park First Baptist Church to create the Boone Kids Fundraiser and help feed, clothe, and provide gifts this Christmas to the underprivileged in several ways. The immediate need for help is apparent, from not just the immediate community but anyone who is willing to share the message of kindness and love nationally or internationally. These are challenging times for many and while the Boone Kids need your support, we realize there are many other children and other families worldwide in need of the very same kinds of assistance. Persons wishing to make a contribution to the Boone Kids Fundraiser may send their donations in a check or money order by mail to:

Donations should be made payable to Deer Park First Baptist Church with "Boone Kids" noted clearly in the memo section of either the check or money order.

We also are requesting donations of non-perishable food items, used and/or new clothing, and new or like-new toys which may also be sent to or dropped off at the same address.

Remember: no matter where in the world you may be, PLEASE donate to one of your local food banks, charities, or other local programs to help the underprivileged as well this Christmas season. We are all responsible for pitching in and making this world a better place to live through taking care of those less fortunate than ourselves.
